Anyhow, so we don't use cash anymore.
We use, we're not affiliated by these folks.
They don't sponsor us or anything.
It's just what our family uses is the Greenlight app.
And that is, there's a fee for it.
We tried to find a way of doing this without a fee, like opening up a kid's checking account, stuff like that, and it just didn't work.
So the Greenlight thing worked for us.
I'm pretty sure we paid some kind of silly fee for it.
And anyhow, you can set up direct deposits into the kids' accounts.
You can monitor it.
They have an app they can look at.
uh it doesn't have the physical side of money but quite honestly when they get to be i mean we're talking about 10 years from now for our oldest and then you know later on life he's gonna be an adult it's gonna be even more digitized by then like he's not gonna use real money if we think that they're gonna withdraw money from a bank account and go around and spend it we're out of our minds so unfortunately we're getting them used to the digital system the good part is
So our youngest doesn't mind spending because he just doesn't.
He's like, oh, I have money.
I'll just spend it.
Our oldest.
uh he likes stuff but he's also a little hesitant sometimes to spend so he'll like just not spend for a long time and all of a sudden we'll have like hundreds in his account and it's funny because his little brother would be like how much do i have in my account like uh he's um six now so he's getting six dollars we're like you got like twelve dollars he's like oh cool i want to go spend it he's like how much does my brother have in his account we're like like 280 dollars he's like
