When they compare women investors to men investors, women do a better job actually of investing.

So I just gave you all this good news.

What's the bad news?

The bad news, it depends on how you look at it.

You live longer.

So like you take a look at my grandmother Rose who I talked about.

My grandmother Rose lived to be 86.

My grandfather lived to be 72.

Okay.

That's way more common than not.

And so women on average live 7 to 10 years longer.

But in many cases, you actually live 20 years longer than the man in your life.

And that means you need more money set aside for retirement.

You're going to need more money later in life.

And often women have less money.

They have less money because they've not earned equal dollar for what men were paid.

That's a problem, big problem.

Second thing is women take an average of 7 to 10 years off for childbearing years.

And if you take 7 to 10 years off, and quite frankly, if you take more than a year off, you significantly reduce your ability to earn money.
