And so there were these three conflicting messages all about my body.

And I'm like, I'm fearfully and wonderfully made, right?

So God isn't surprised that I have curves.

But there's this sexualized aspect to it that then comes, people address it from different angles and different aspects.

For some people, it's beautiful.

It's great.

Explore it.

For someone else, it's a threat.

Cover it up.

We don't want to see it.

You're making me uncomfortable because my husband's right here and

I'm not looking at him and he's not looking at me.

And then there's another piece of it where maybe it's a little bit more sound where it's like, okay, this is what you have.

Just be wise with what that means and how you present that to the world.

But it's all these messages and you're sitting there in the body just confused.

Yes, I grew up in an all-black church.

That's really all I know up until my 20s.

And I was in a predominantly white church for three years.

But prior to that, I was in all-black churches.

And the church that trained me in ministry, actually, I went there at five.
