I think it's just archaic.
I mean, we keep going on about it, you know.
Allow players to play across Super Rugby.
Allow players, once they've spent a certain amount of time in Super Rugby, to head off overseas and possibly be eligible for the All Blacks.
Yeah, look, I came out on my radio show and I did a bit of a U-turn.
Like, I still think I want to see Ruben Love given an opportunity in the 10 jersey at some point in an All Black.
But yeah, look, Damian McKenzie absolutely killed him on the weekend.
Damian McKenzie, I mean, I was a little bit disappointed.
I think they probably should have kicked a little bit more for territory when they had that win behind them.
But Damian McKenzie's running game, what I haven't seen from Ruben Love is him take it to the line.
I want to see sort of the Andrew Mertens type player in him.
He's obviously been looked at.
We know he's explosive, but maybe at the moment, because he is still learning that position a little bit, he is just playing a little bit more sort of percentage football.
But look, Damien McKenzie is without doubt the most influential player in super rugby in terms of turning the game around.
But we've seen that for years, haven't we, with him?
And so...
does he still have that ability to take it?
And it's been a bit skittery at times with the All Blacks, but I'll put it back to it.
He's never really, he's been mucked around a lot, hasn't he?
He's never really been given that number 10 jersey permanently.
