I hear that and feel that, right.

This is a bad emotion.

If I acknowledge that, if I let this out.

It means that everything is going to catch on fire and then I'm going to make decisions from that place.

And it's like, no, we can just let that out and acknowledge it and be honest about it with ourselves.

Right.

And then we can decide what to move forward with.

We don't have to act from that space.

something that I've been playing with in more recent years, I had a therapist who did IFS work.

And so just to start using the framing of parts, right.

Of like, I have this part of me that's feeling this way.

And that almost feels permission giving as well, because I'm saying like, generally, this is how I feel about my life or my work or whatever it is.

Right.

And in this current moment, there's also a part of me that's like,

I don't, whatever, right.

Whatever the, the challenging thought is.

And I think that just gives so much grace there of like, yeah, of course you do.

Of course you have moments where you don't want to do this or you don't want to.

Yeah.

Like she said, I hate my kids.
