At the end of the day, you're just like, oh, what did I actually do all day?
And you're afraid of how you look to other people.
You tend to want to respond quickly because you have this internal sense of urgency that I need to get back to people quickly because they depend on me.
And how would I look to my boss or whoever, my clients, if I don't respond right away?
That's stage one.
Any questions on that?
Yeah.
It's always a lot of catering, a lot of responding, caring for other people.
It's harder to draw boundaries.
And then stage two is called the time manager.
This is when you start using checklists to do color code things, you use productivity hacks, and you haven't used leverage though.
So you haven't automated, delegated, or eliminated things.
So you're busy.
You say at the end of the day, I'm busy, but I'm so tired because everything is yourself.
You do things that are not in your zone of genius, whether it's because financial reasons and you have to do it yourself, or you do it because of sense of control.
You don't want to give up control.
You can do it better.
You can do it faster.
It'll take longer for you to train somebody.
I can shop my groceries and pick out my apples or whatever better than the other people.
