But I think generally speaking, I mean, there's there's good rumors to support that Joe Rogan had a hand in kind of shifting the needle to some extent in terms of President Trump's executive order.

Can I say both?

Yeah.

Yeah, I would say both.

I think it is incredibly exciting what's happening and the potential of what's happening.

I think the concern is that these are complex compounds and they don't fit well into the way our current healthcare system is organized.

And

my concern or my worry is that they'll be reduced or oversimplified into being a thing.

And that anyone who's worked alongside of these compounds long enough knows it's almost impossible to say one or two sentences about what they do because there's so much nuance in terms of how they impact different people differently.

It's an interaction effect with the individual.

And so, um,

I think our society loves things to happen quickly and loves to oversimplify the idea that something can shift like this.

Great.

And I don't think that's a good representation for what they do.

would I want to be working in the mental health field without having access to them as a tool?

Absolutely not.

I wouldn't leave the field, but I am much more invigorated by the work I'm doing, knowing that we have access to them because the thing that excites me most about them is this idea that they give people greater access to themselves.

And that to me is the most exciting part about potentially what's happening.

The tricky part about that is that the way they get access in sometimes can feel really great.

And there are also other aspects of the experience that isn't just their own experience.
