I think these compounds are sophisticated enough to keep teaching us over and over again that that's not how they work.
And the unfortunate reality is that people will be casualties to that mindset.
And they will keep spending more money in the same way that a ketamine infusion clinic might keep treating someone with more ketamine when it's not working instead of going, wait, maybe the conditions here are not optimized for you.
Maybe you need to look at a different way of receiving this or experiencing this instead of saying like, oh, well, let's do another round.
Let's do another round.
I just think there's tremendous risks in oversimplifying things in that way.
And we're dealing with people's psyches and their souls.
This is not territory that should be handled lightly or insensitively.
I think it depends on the safety monitoring and the medical monitoring of the retreat center.
And I think some people have more rigorous protocols.
And I think, unfortunately, people might have less rigorous protocols in some environments.
I heard stories of people dying in retreat centers.
And so I think anytime there's a documented history of that, I think people are dying.
it's very appropriate to be incredibly cautious about how to go through the process of vetting programs like this.
And to be honest, I do not think there are good systems in place to vet them appropriately.
So take caution and do your research as best you can and read reviews.
And ideally, this is also what I think about just like implementation in general.
