My kids are all Gen Z, but there's, you know, a few years between them.
And the eldest one was asking one of the younger brothers, have you been on dating apps?
And the eldest one had been.
And the younger one said no, but then said to me afterwards, like, I'm not that desperate.
And I thought that was quite interesting.
He's young enough to think that you don't need that because at his age, they still meet people the old fashioned way.
They meet them through school and college and things like that because that's where they're at.

evolved I suppose as they get a little bit older but I was kind of glad that there's still a bit of normal meeting out there I think we probably meeting people through your work through your whatever you're doing chatting to people on a night out having a bit of crack with people you know Jesus when you think about it like
So everyone acknowledges pretty much that these are rubbish for us.
It's kind of sad because it is the way that a huge amount of people... The first time I ever heard it, I was in Canada and I was chatting to this guy that... I was on a press trip thing and I was chatting to one of the other people on it and he was talking about his partner.
And I said, oh, how did you meet him?
And he said, well, like everybody else on an app.
His thought was that was the only way you met people.
He was, you know, 10 years younger or whatever.
And I was like, wow.
