And so I asked her, so you know, everyone says you're not paying attention in school.
Are you bored?
And she said, Yeah, I focus on the first few minutes and then I kinda zone out 'cause I'm like, Okay, I get it, I get it, I get it and
They're not teaching to her learning style and her aptitude.
And so I I told the parents to talk to the teachers about like, can you give her harder work?
You know, give her a chance to do things at school 'cause once she gets home she's not gonna be able to do homework, but she could probably do the homework in ten minutes in school if you just like gave her a chance in a quiet room.
Um
And sh that's what they did and she was doing so much better.
So to label this kid with ADHD, which is sort of a derogatory term in a lot of you know, context, as opposed to having superior processing power

So let me just first put in a little plug.
You you mentioned at the top of our conversation that I'm have a manual coming out this year and I'm still working on that, trying to get it out.
I've been derailed lately though, trying to publish some research um and try to get some journal articles out there.
Um and one of the proposals right now that I I might be looking at this year, maybe next year.
is how does the couple's retreat actually impact the experience of the children in the home?
And that by working on the parental dynamic, is there a is there a trickle down and what is it and how do we characterize it?
So
Um if we talk in another year maybe I'll have a lot more to say on that topic.
