You don't bounce back from a cold as well as you used to.
If you have a bit of back pain, it tends to hang around.
you don't feel like your brain is firing on all cylinders the way it used to.
You can feel like you're shoving on the extra kilos, even though you're not doing much to change what you're eating or the way you're exercising, it can feel harder to get to sleep.
And it's hard to know which of the biological changes that we can observe in a fruit fly exactly translates to the exact symptom that you're having right now.
But I think if you put all of the big aging changes in
in one big bucket and then take all of your symptoms and stick them all in one bucket.
They've probably got a lot to do with each other and decoding each one is a bit tougher than it sounds.
So true.
Like I've got girlfriends whose parents are in their 90s or even 100s.
One of my girlfriends just went to Japan for her father's 90th birthday with him and, like, they were doing 20,000 steps a day up and downstairs.
He's trying all the new food.
He's actually a Kiwi.
So hello to Mr Stevens if he's out there.
But, like, I'm looking at him and I'm just going, okay, yeah, you're a farmer.
Yep, you sort of lived in the cold.
you've done it, you know, you've lived through maybe some less cushy times than us Gen Xers.
But like, what makes some of these guys just so 100% in the brain?
And some people feel really old when they're in their 40s.
And I do think we are all really different.
