If you run your own business, if you've got a hairdressing salon or something like that, you are busy because you've got your work and then you've got the background work running a business.
You've got kids working.
These days, women our age often have teenagers.
You know, our mums had much younger children at our age.
But now we've also got our parents and we're caring for them.
And we've got partners and they're often not taking their health seriously, particularly if they're a male partner.
And so now we're really worried about them.
And so we're now going to be trying to organise
their appointments with their doctor and saying that snoring, I don't think it's right.
I think you might have sleep apnea.
And all of that, that mental load sits on you.
And if you think at the end of the day you're going to come home and open your fridge to a vibrant array of colourful, fresh vegetables waiting to be effortlessly chopped and put into a lovely raw salad, I mean, good for you.
That's awesome.
One day a week maybe.
But meanwhile, we've got to make good food work into a busy lifestyle and every one of us will find our own hacks.
I don't think that there are any superfoods.
I think if we're splitting hairs between whether you eat kale or beetroot, I don't think we have a problem here.
I think if you're trying to work out whether you have takeaway Thai noodles or a pizza, we might have some issues.
We need to talk.
But if that's all it's come down to, have a cucumber as well.
