its natural level of sex hormones.

So hormones is is a big one that could potentially be leading to painful sex if there's a depletion.

And for menopause, we would want to get on some hormonal support.

Vaginismus is a condition that can prevent all types of insertion, not just intercourse, but pelvic exams, tampons, finger insertion, anything that you would typically need vaginal insertion for.

Vaginismus can cause severe muscle tension, tightness and pain.
