If there's been trauma or uh just really hard transitions in your life that haven't really been addressed or processed, then mental health alone literally could be driving someone's pelvic pain.

Um pelvic floor physical therapy is definitely an option that should be explored more whenever
pain is happening with sex because there's high rates of success with it and it's such a non-invasive option for care.

So first thing is it's gonna be like a long conversation.
You're gonna get asked the most questions you've ever had about your poop, your pee, your sex life, your pelvis in general.
It's not gonna be just sex because the muscles that help support your pelvis deal with more than just sex.
So they're gonna gather your information, your medical history, what you're dealing with and what your goals are, and then you can expect an examination.
