their parents are told, they're told that this is the answer to their problems.
You know, they're uncomfortable with their sex or they're, you know, they're just struggling in life.
They're awkward.
Puberty is awkward.
And the answer is that, well, you must be trans and you were born in the wrong body.
And that is the cruelest thing you can say to a child that, you know, you're right.
You're so wrong.
You were born in the wrong body.
And then they do something worse and they
attempt to correct this with harmful chemicals, puberty blockers, hormones that themselves are laden with side effects and lead to sterility and then go further to these surgeries.
And there may be some euphoria after and they feel better, but you have medicalized these children for life.
They are dependent on these hormones.

So many complications, they're disfigured.
You've taken a healthy body and now medicalized it for life.
So, you know, there is real regret from these kids.
And, you know, the parents also, the families go through hell.
And, you know, the parents are pressured by these doctors that are supposed to be telling them the best medical advice.
