Appearances
Absolutely.
I think that's a great question.
And when you think about it,
You know, those uh you know, those applications on our phone are designed to grab our attention.
The longer we spend
You know, the more attention we spend on those applications, the more money that those companies make in advertisement revenue.
So they're good at they're good at what they do.
And I've even noticed, you know, I I can't prove anything, but I've even noticed different things that will pop up to keep me engaged right when I'm about to click off as a way to keep me uh, you know, in the application.
So I think we live in an attention economy.
economy.
We live in a world that's constantly trying to get, you know, our views and our likes and our attention.
And I think that complicates
things because you know there is an easy escape.
a lot of the time.
So if I'm bored with something, you know, boredom, you know, could be a function of ADHD.
Boredom can also just be, you know, is just a natural part of being a human being as well.
And so
To fill that gap when I'm bored, it doesn't feel great being bored.
So I'm gonna reach for something that's stimulating and interesting.
Um, and so one of the things that I think when we go about this is to figure out, you know, we're going back in time and we're trying to look for difficulties that this person may have had before.
