I was a running back for the Philadelphia Liberty Bells.
We actually won the first championship game that first inaugural year.
So yeah, I am a avid sports player in general.
Right now pickleball is one of my favorites.

Yeah when we've been on path hiking all over the world.
So happy to provide some of my favorite spots.
So, yes, the vast majority of my work that I do now focuses on human-centered design, equity-centered design, and design thinking.
And basically that means that as nurses, as researchers, as designers, we're not going out and telling people what we think their problem is, but really allowing them to show us and tell us what they know their problem is so that we can co-develop the
solution together.
So that really is the human-centered part of it where you're understanding that it's your end users, your interest holders, your population who really need to drive the process.
The equity centered design
part comes into play when you
understand and notice that and put all of your own assumptions and biases aside.
understand power dynamics that are going on in a project group or within your population and really try and lift up other voices.
Again, I think, and this comes out a lot with the Johnson Johnson Nurse Innovation Fellowship.
These are highly functioning senior executive nurses.
They are
are constantly identifying problems, creating solutions, and moving forward.
