So I think that's one thing.
The other thing is there's so many problems in healthcare and nurses and nurse leaders are doing so many other things.
that it's just
Efficiency, like trying to just efficiently get done what you can get done, when you can get it done, and moving on to the next thing.
A lot of the nurses and nurse leaders that I work with, they're just trying to provide the best care they can, be the best manager, director, colleague, boss that they can, while juggling a million other things.
And so if
you can fix a problem on your own and move on to something else, that's just
the way it goes.
The human centered design process takes a lot of time.
Listening to and understanding the end users, it's not a quick process.
And
there's not a lot of extra time in healthcare and in the work that nurses do.
And so in order to be able to
truly run through a human-centered design process in a way that it entails it takes a lot of resources, a lot of dedication, a lot of time and commitment.
And I applaud
the we're at like a hundred fellows at this point who have taken that time and they're organizations who've provided the resources for them to do that because that means they're committed to really truly solving a problem from the end user interest holders point of view not just solving it to solve it.
Yep, yeah.
And my father was a master carpenter and he would say it all the time, measure twice, cut once.
Yes.
And it's a similar principle.
