Yes, it is a lot of work and we don't want to cause more work on nurses.
But once you learn it, it's something that just becomes intrinsic in the work that you do and it makes the work you do more efficient, more effective, more human-centered, more equity centered.
And that's not just better for patients, it's better for nurses, it's better for healthcare.
Yeah, I I mean you said it.
So well-being's not an area I've looked at almost at all.
However, in some of the work I did for my dissertation and on another
paper, I was looking at something else.
Both times we saw that nurses who felt that they were innovative and were supported around the innovation work that they were doing by their organizations were happier.
at their organization and happier within the work that they were doing.
So they wanted to stay at their institution.
They wanted to keep innovating.
So if you support nurses to be innovators, they are going to want to solve the problems at the organizations that they're working at to make it better.
And so it's a win-win for everyone.
You know, we keep saying yes, it's a lot of work
And it can be uncomfortable.
You know, we just this past weekend had our Summer Innovation Institute, which is a five-day intensive for our new Johnson ⁇ Johnson nurse innovation fellows.
And we're taking these, again, senior nurse leaders who are considered experts in their own right, in their own fields, leading these organizations, and we're bringing them back to novices.
And we're pushing them for five days outside their comfort zone and it gets contentious.
People get uncomfortable.
But
