The difference between spending yesterday completely alone versus with other people in terms of how good a day people essentially reported having, that difference is seven times bigger than the difference between being relatively wealthy versus relatively poor, right?

That's a huge difference.

Right.

There are lots of things we believe in the abstract that we don't actually believe in the moment.

Yeah.

We don't actually put into practice, right?

So money is a very easy thing to quantify and calculate.

So when you go to a job, you know, you apply for a job or somebody offers you overtime pay, right?

Or there's a position you could get if you worked a little harder.

make a little more money.

It's easy to tell this is a $10,000 difference.

And that's an easy thing to assess.

It's very hard to assess what's an extra hour of connecting with my spouse over dinner.

What's that going to do for me?

It's not easy to calculate.

So we tend not to calculate it, right?

We don't think about it as much because it's hard to measure and it's hard to quantify.

And that can lead to a lot of unwise choices for sure.

I think that is what it is, probably.

Because it's the awareness, it's the belief that then drives how you make your choices, right?
