Your life got worse because that's hard, right?

It's hard.

It was hard to have them have them do that.

But, you know, I have wonderful marriage.

My wife is Jen is amazing.

We got to spend a ton of time together.

That was really, really rewarding.

What really brings happiness and well-being are the experiences we're having with other people and friends.

We tend to have actually the data suggests we enjoy spending time with friends more than we do with family.

But that's mostly because the things we do with friends are different than the things we do with family.

And so that difference between family and friends disappears when you just account for what you're doing together, right?

So, you know, you do the dishes with your husband, right?

And that's not as fun as what you do with the gal pals when you go out to a movie or you go to a show or something, right?

You're only going to a show with them.

But if you do that with your husband, you'll like it just as much or with our kids, right?

So sometimes we're doing hard things with the kids.

We're having to work with them when they're home from school and keep them entertained while we're also trying to work.

That's hard to do, right?

Or we're disciplining them, which is hard to have to do.
