Well, you can step away.
But that's so hard.
Well, you can curate the relationship.
I mean, I know, for example, that if I talk politics with certain people in my family now, especially now, it's going to go really badly.
And so I structure my contact with them so that we're not likely to talk politics.
We don't do that.
And so it's not that I want to cut off the relationships.
I don't.
But I want to put guardrails around the things that get us into trouble.
No, they're both important.
Because first of all, we're going to lose our old relationships eventually.
Well, people die.
True.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And people move away.
I mean, I've lost, you know, my dearest friend in the world died of dementia 10 years ago.
And it was just heartbreaking.
And it's like, now what?
Yeah.
So we do need to keep those skills up of making new relationships.
