And a routine needs to be simple enough that you can be consistent with it.
So you can stick it through and actually see results, right?
Yeah.
So that I think is really important that people understand because the internet, social media, it's optimized for selling things.
And more doesn't mean better, especially not when it comes to your skin.
And you really have to try to take a giant step back.
And so this is what I tell patients, like I'm going to tell you, like I tell my own family.
Literally take a giant step back from your mirror and not your magnifying mirror.
and look at the forest and not the tree.
Understand what is the biggest issue that you see in your skin.
Is it brown spots?
Is it redness?
Is it dehydration?
Is it wrinkles?
Is it, I don't know, whatever, crepiness, whatever it is that it is that you see, what is the one biggest issue that bothers you?
And let's start just there.
If you're overwhelmed by all the products, forget the specific products themselves.
There are three categories that you kind of want to incorporate into your routine to make sure, number one, that you're protecting your skin, you're supporting your skin barrier, number two, and number three, you are helping drive long-term change.
