The expected demands of life were
And occasionally rise to the unexpected ones, the challenges.
So groceries, I think of luggage, lifting it into that overhead bin.
I think of gardening again.
Um opening those stubborn jars, you know, in the kitchen, picking up a child, uh, you know, who may be wiggling.
Um or recovering quickly when something happens.
They all draw on our reserve.
And it allows us to engage in the choices that we make about trying things as well.
So the nice thing again is that strength remains really responsive throughout our life.
It can be trained.
Muscles can adapt and that's even been shown well into our eighties and even nineties.
They really can.
We used to think you got 'em and then you're they're gonna be declining, you know, you got what you got.
But capacity can grow.
Резерв can be rebuilt.
So we'll put that practice, you know, put that into practice later, I should say.
But for now, just remember that grip strength is a useful reminder of some of the most important measures of health that are found in these simple things we're talking about today.
It gives us the reserve.
