This is narcissistic abuse.

This is not a normal.

She needs somebody who knows everything about narcissism and coercive control and manipulation and that kind of thing.

This is not normal.

So my sister Gráinne set that up for me.

And I'm so grateful for that because that year and a half of counselling with that counsellor was life changing.

I began to dive deep into narcissism.

Because the statistics show that it takes seven times for a woman to leave a narcissistic relationship.

So you have to educate yourself on it.

He'll come up with all kinds of things to reel you back in.

Hoover you is the word.

So I had to educate myself and I dived it.

I took that very serious.

I had to have no contact.

And that was advised as well legally.

And then the third thing was, was really about looking after myself and trying to focus on my own mental health, that kind of thing.

So I did all of that.
