I started always right around his age.

She went to nursery school at St.

Mark's, and then she went to kindergarten, and then she fell in love with art and all the different things that happened to me.

And he sort of was able to track what it might be like to have me be in his shoes.

And then all the way to the yoga class where I met his dad and all the way to the point where I totally went against the rules and went out on a date with a student who was visiting from another town.

But still, I did it.

And sure enough, within a couple months, we eloped.

We had to create him.

He was made from so much love.

Those were the messages he got in that story.

And each time I would change it a little bit.

So if you're listening and you're getting a divorce, you're going through a hard story, maybe it's worth it to design a time at bedtime with your young child where you tell a story of your own experience of what that child might be going through

It turned out really beautifully.

One day I said, okay, would you like to hear the story of Elena?

It was after about a year, a year and a half.

And he said, no, I'm good.

And that was it.

It was so sweet.

Yeah, yeah, we're good.
