Well, no, I think it's it's again it's more about whether you get it right for each child.

So um so for example, my two children, one's incredibly physically affectionate and the other really isn't.

And so

if if we just assumed that it was the same for everyone, then um and a and I kind of cuddled the one who doesn't like it as much, you know, then it to the same degree, then then yeah, she'd find that quite s suffocating because it's what it is is I'm not attuning to her.

So a lot of it is about

Whether you attune to your children and whether you know that that you you can interpret the world for them and explain some of these things and whether these are subjects that can be discussed.

What are the years

Uh look I think I think i you know, it depends what the events are as to how they impact you.

Um certainly you take a hell of a lot in under the age of ten and that's the time where a lot of adults think

you are paying the least attention, you'd be amazed.

In fact, I was reading a study this week that said that children's views on alcohol are pretty set from the age of four, that they've already taken in a great deal of observation about patterns in the family and how alcohol plays a role.

So I think we don't really know enough about what Liddleys are are taking on.

Um, certainly if you have a break up and re partnering right in the middle of adolescence, what's really hard about that is just say your mum's dating at exactly the time you're also dating.

That can be incredibly difficult when you do things that to a young person feel out of order.

You know, that your parents doing what you're supposed to do.

Or your parents are in a high state of romance at a time when you're still trying to work out what romance you're gonna have.

Um, often that can mean your parents are quite clocked off for a while because of course you know in early romance you're totally captivated by the other person.

So it actually can mean that you lose your parents to romance at pivotal times.

So I think when these things happen and how much it seems like they get in your way um in terms of the goals you have for your life and your own needs, um it's the combination of all of those events that have the impact.
