So, you know, I think it's like any agreement, it only works if it works and it's very easy for it to get out of kilter. matched

Not not because I'm encouraging deception, but I think matched

Sometimes people do it with the um matched

uh unconscious hope sometimes of testing the partner and seeing if they're jealous and seeing if they're more interested. matched

I think um that can obviously go badly awry. matched

Um other times it is because they're managing guilt and regret and it might have been better to manage that before they did it than to try and manage it afterwards. matched

You know, I think that if you're really not resolved about what you're doing, it's worth thinking twice. matched
