And so I think that it's really important for women of this stage of life to start listening to your body and be aware that as we age, our body can't keep up with it like we used to.
Sleep.
Yeah.
I don't know how many times I've heard I'll sleep when I die.
And that just is not serving us.
Like we need sleep now.
Here's what's also interesting about midlife is that you probably are starting to notice that even though you're not doing anything differently, that you are becoming a little bit more sensitive in terms of how you eat and drink and how it affects your sleep.
So like, for example, many women in midlife, myself included, find that if I have one or two glasses of wine, that I can probably kiss a really good night's sleep goodbye.
And so just be aware that everyone needs a different lifestyle.
amount of sleep, you probably know what that is.
But your eating habits and exercise habits will definitely impact how you sleep.
Yeah.
The thing that I could probably suggest is...
Two things.
One is I was talking about blood sugar before.
I was talking about carbohydrates and blood sugar.
So you can play around with the amount of carbohydrate that's in your last meal of the day and see if that impacts your sleep quality.
And so you can also tell if like, for example, I talked about alcohol.
So notice what types of foods are interrupting your sleep.
So those are probably the big ones.
