Like I'm in my job, I'm doing those things, I'm doing my regimented
tasks, what I need to do, but you actually forget to have fun and joy.
So even for me, I'm like, I'm going away this weekend and I'm like, I want to go on a bike ride or, you know, I want to go to a comedy show or I want to just do fun things.
Think of things that like what bring you joy or just having a laugh, doing stupid things, you know, that way that we actually forget about that bring us joy.
And
Like, I think now I'm learning to laugh a bit more, to enjoy the now, enjoy the moment instead of what I should be doing and needing to be controlled and things.
It's learning to literally live in the moment because there's so much beautiful things that are in the moment of fun, laughter, joy, not taking myself so seriously because there was a time I think some people used to say to me a few years ago being like, oh, my God, you know.
I could be a bit serious, you know, where now I'm like, oh, here, you know, like I don't want to be taken serious to a point, you know, if I have to be professional or if I'm giving talks and events, I can be both.
I can be all of the above.
So they are the seven chapters that I am learning turning 40.
So just to say them all together was dating and relationships, not forcing them, mental and inner self, working on it, caring less, that zero fucks, self-worth and identity, judgment on yourself and others, motivation versus reality, letting life be lighter.
So like to wrap it up as well, like I'm still figuring life out.
I think I'm in a really good place now of who I am and who I want to be.
I do love my life right now, but now there's so much more to come.
Growth is not linear.
And I thought it was.
It's a roller coaster.
It's up, down, in, out, high, low, crying, like the whole shebang.
And we have to accept that.
I'm softer as well than what I was.
