But an interesting one to watch to see what I think more important, what it precludes to us or what indicates for us we'll have in the two years after that.
Yeah, and I think it's a really great question because as you outlined, if you did two camps, right, the yes camp and the no camp for your investing, there's a lot in the no camp, right?
There's a lot of worries, concerns.
When you take a step back, the best day to invest is today.
The next best day is tomorrow.
If you're a long-term investor, if you're looking for six months, nine months, keep your cash.
It's okay.
When you're a long-term investor, the best time is today.
The next best time is tomorrow because it's not about timing the market.
It's about time in the market.
And that's really, really important.
And if you go back over time, and there's lots of great podcasts out there, including one from David Kelly at Dick Morgan, that talks about even if you invested the day before the last crash, you're positive.
You've got a great return.
And these moments don't actually necessarily, when you've got a long-term lens, disrupt that return you're going to get.
They don't destroy it.
And I think that's really, really important.
So there's a lot of reasons not to invest, but at the end of the day, you know, you're going to need more money in your retirement.
Equity is really helpful for that.
The long-term average return for the S&P is, you know, that 7% to 8%, so it's a great return.
We've earned more in the last few years because we're in this super cycle, but don't fear the cycle.
