My God, I've seen really heavily pregnant women sliding in slime reveals and everything, like nearly injuring themselves and the baby.
Really, really crazy stuff.
But yeah, it's the peak Instagramification of everything in our lives from these gender reveals to weddings and even our wardrobes is kind of passing now.
So we're kind of coming back into a more sensible era, which is phenomenal for us and the environment.
So we didn't do anything with plastic tat or anything else like that.
We just had a lovely little video from our holidays and we're like, oh, sure, we'll tell people now.
And we put that up and just put a little bit of text over it.
So beyond the digital footprint that that incurred of being posted online, there's no real physical waste incurred there, which is one way to do it.
Now, obviously, everyone's going to do it differently.
Some people now would be doing petal reveals instead of big plastic confetti cannons and all of the non-biodegradable waste that you're going to get with that.
And then other people are still doing the cake ones as well, which is a really lovely one.
What's wrong with the cake?
Nothing, because you're going to eat the cake.
So provided you don't get one that's like two football pitches long and then you've incurred a load of food waste, that's a fun way to go as well.
Yes, I think the last time I came into it, I was in my gotten rid of all the waistband era.
All of that was gone out of the wardrobe.
But yeah, at this stage now, had to dress professionally for a few work bits lately.
So I've been implementing the bobbin trick a lot, which if anyone isn't familiar, is where you get a little bobbin, stretchy bobbin, and you're going to loop it through your buttonhole.
And it's going to give you a few extra weeks, maybe an extra trimester out of the trousers that are already in your wardrobe.
So that's a great way to go about things as well.
