We're putting together a little list of bits that we kind of need to fill in the gaps for, but we're happy to buy if they don't come through in our baby shower thing.

And she was like, that's not really a thing for my generation.

Now, her generation, she was saying, would buy presents when the baby arrives.

So I was like, OK, that's fascinating because baby shower is so normalised for me.

Whatever pals have gone before us and gotten married, we'd get a little list.

This is the few little lovely bits that they'd like for their baby.

So I am 34 now.

So my pals would have started having their babies in their late 20s.

So my first baby shower would have been about five years ago, but that's me personally.

But similar to all of these kind of things like gender reveals and stuff, it tended to be social media that popped these off.

So I think it was in and around 2015, 2018, that whole thing.

This is it.

And as someone who has bought off these lists before, I love knowing, especially as someone who didn't have kids, that I was getting something for the couple that they genuinely wanted for this era when they knew better.

And also, you don't know what people already have.

You don't know, God forbid, even what colour schemes they've done their nursery up in.

So it's just a really lovely way to kind of mentally tick something off for yourself as well.

So, yeah, that's a really nice way.

But there's a new trend that's popping off on social media now as well.

I'm laughing at that now.

Well, sure, look, we'll be living in with my parents now because we're about to do a deep retrofit.
