Yes, exactly.

My half-brothers have also stopped speaking to me since 2020.

They've said that they won't reconnect until everything is resolved with their mom, but no one can ever define what resolved actually means or what is expected of me beyond endlessly apologizing.

Or these are her sons and they're just taking her side and they assume that our friend here is to blame.

Years have now gone by.

I've missed so much of my nieces and nephews' lives, including two who were born after 2020 that I've never even met.

I still see my dad alone sometimes when my stepmother allows it.
