this program it's probably too much in the weeds talking about cushing crude stocks but people who follow closely are noticing that mid-continent crude stocks are basically at their lowest level in 12 years technically near their minimum operating inventory level which means you have to worry about now disruptions etc it could be something like that

But at the end of the day, what we're trying to do is look at the net of all these factors for the oil balance.

And we landed very strongly on a view that what you were going to see is continued draws on inventories.

And this has kind of been a recurring theme, believe it or not, for a number of years.

If you look at what has happened to global petroleum stocks, really going back to COVID, the drawdown has been unprecedented.

And then you throw into that pot of soup, straight to hormones being interrupted, producers having to shut production because they can't store it domestically and they can't get it out of the system.

So now you're looking at these 15 and a half million barrels a day of production losses.

We have an unknown market.

entity of what's going to be the damage in both Iraq and Kuwait because their shutdowns of production were indicated as being disorderly.

That's not a word you ever want to hear when someone's taking down oil production.

You don't want to hear the word disorderly.

Imagine you're driving down the highway at, uh, you know, 80 clicks an hour, right?

55 miles an hour or something like that.

And, um, instead of, uh, tapping the brakes and slowing down, um, downshifting, if you have to pulling over to the right lane, imagine that.

And then imagine just putting the car in park.

You're going to stop in both cases.

I would tell you that throwing the car in park is a disorderly shutdown equivalent.

You have to do it a particular way so you don't do damage to the car, the transmission system, the axles, et cetera, et cetera.

Oil production is not like sticking a straw in a juice box for a kid.

There's all these things that happen down well.
