Look, I think making sure that you still spend time with your partner and quality one-on-one time.

Of course, they always talk about quality time.

making sure that there is some separateness as well as togetherness.

So don't give up your whole life for your partner.

Make sure there's other stuff that you do so you can bring that energy back into the relationship.

And also all the, I know it sounds boring, but all the nice normal things that go into making a really good relationship like

you know, communicating well and supporting each other and doing nice things for each other and praising your partner and all that sort of stuff.

Yeah, people with borderline personality disorder do get very attached to their partners, so that's not surprising.

They also have a more what they call a disorganised style of attachment.

So I'm really pleased that this person feels really close to their partner.

It sounds like they're doing a good job at keeping each other safe in that way.
