it's still a compliment and it still shouldn't mean anything other than if it was a a an opposite sex crush, you know, saying, I dig you so much and I've developed romantic feelings for you.
You know, in a way, even if this person isn't same sex attracted, it probably gives them a nice easy out if they wanted to get out of it.

I mean i th that that could be a nice easy out, like I said, but um yeah, it's no matter who it is and and how you're attracted, it's a very brave move and I I do think the coming out process and and coming out as attracted to somebody who you don't know what their orientation is is hugely brave no matter who you are.

There's a lot of conversations that could happen before this person takes the leap, you know, just even saying, Hey, have you ever been same-sex attracted?
Have you ever thought about giving it a go in a more abstract form will at least give some level of uh information that could then be used to say yay or nay.
Otherwise, you know, looking at this friendship and going, Okay, does this guy show quality?
of being able to go through tough conversations, you know, valuing friendships beyond difficult moments, you know.
Could I trust that even if he didn't feel the same way, he still thinks I'm pretty cool and would work to save the friendship?
That's probably what I'd be thinking about before confessing is what's this person's qualities and are they likely to be able to fix things with me or are they just gonna go into a like a an avoidance?

think about starting it all again and and broadening your circle and going out there.
So it's a very courageous thing that you did to to ask her how she felt and a tough road that you went on.
