The the key message is you gotta look after yourself and you've got to be kind to yourself.
So if seeing that person day after day and feeling awful is gonna happen, then take a break and if you reckon you can handle it then keep going.
So it's really what you do in your head in that case.
So if you don't say anything and you just lust it after that person from afar and make them out to be the best thing in the world and you know, s focus on how much better that person is than anyone else you've ever met, then you're gonna be one of these kind of Cinderella types that are always sitting there, always the bridesmaid, never the bride not picked.
Um whereas
If you decide you want I'm not gonna go after this for
lots of reasons and and there are lots of reasons not to go after it.
and you make an effort to focus on how it wouldn't work between you and that person in a relationship and also make an effort to get out there and think about what do I want and look for other people who might meet that better, then you have every capacity to fall back into a nice, comfortable friendship with that person and those feelings can fade.
Look, I would say most definitely it changes it temporarily and how long it changes it for really depends on the effort of both you and that person to re-establish a comfortable friendship.
So uh I suppose it it's down to a multitude of factors, but you know, m maturity and dedication to the friendship is part of that and just really trying hard to honour
each other as friends.
So yeah, of course, you know, something like that will shock the other person potentially and there'll be a disruption, but it's nothing that you can't get over.
Yeah, yeah, I think
Because this person's already so valuable to you and often uh they're already well a part of your life.
You might share other friends together or definitely share mutual activities and you know, ha they're a big part of your life already.
There's that extra pressure to make it work, otherwise there's gonna be a huge hole if if you break up and you can't um recover the friendship.
So
So I do agree.
it's so ecliptic, isn't it?
I I think that uh takes huge bravery and I think that accepting that, you know, your needs and feelings are worthwhile and not at all shameful and I I guess in a way
