I'm living it.

I'm feeling it, but I'm also tasting the sense and seeing the emotions and like, you know, that like the colors of feelings and all of that.

What did birds mean to you as a kid?

Oh, my little birdy birds.

I was obsessed, obsessed with birds.

All animals, all nature, but birds in particular.

I thought I was a bird.

I wanted to be a bird.

I would fantasise about looking through birds' eyes.

I would hold out my hands so that I had feathers in

you know, for my fingers were feathers and wings.

I was constantly devastated that I wasn't an eagle, like devastated, absolutely bereft that I'm like, I'm not an eagle.

And I'd wake up the next day, I'm still not an eagle.

And so birds were, I don't know, there was no such thing as, and it's not a hippie spirit animal thing, but it's more of a...

Just that I have a sense of kinship with birds that started, again, when I was very young.

Where would you keep the baby birds that needed Gina's care?

Yeah, I was a crazy bird girl.
