Well, I think there's a reoccurring theme here, and you can look at it in other areas.

It's that there seems to be a desensitising when people are coming forward with issues to one of those agencies that deal with a lot of different issues, that they're not engaging with it.

And so the thing that struck me when I looked over that report was that the older sister of the children is repeatedly contacting Oranga Tamariki with specific information saying that they're not safe and they're not okay and what are they doing.

And that seems to me some of the worst parts because they're not engaging with that information, they're not taking it seriously.

And so I think there needs to be a way where there's better evaluating of information.

But that's really for governments to put into practice mechanisms to try and prevent those things from occurring again.

And look, I was interested as well that there was no comment there on the Netflix documentary, I think.

I think the fact that, you know, documentary people got access in there is really questionable when children's privacy and children's safety haven't been looked

And one point that I thought was really interesting was I set it up at the beginning by saying we're really lucky in New Zealand to have good access to our politicians and that's important.

So pointing that out, I think really hit home that we have a real privilege here in New Zealand where you can see your politicians and ask questions of them.
