So maybe it's just about kind of like realigning our thinking a little bit and realizing where we are already.

I mean, he's like hokey-cokey for him.
He's in, he's out, he's in, he's out.
But it's quite clear that
he's quite hostile to Europe, actually.
I think on a personal level, he does not like Europe.
And, you know, that's sort of manifesting either through sort of telling Europeans that they need to up their defence spending and be responsible for their own defence, or, you know, on occasion sort of threatening to pull out entirely.
And one of the ironies of this summit in Ankara at the moment is that the one leader within NATO who can kind of
keep Trump on board a bit at this point is Erdogan.
Turkey is Erdogan.
Because they sort of speak the same language.
They're very similar in terms of the way they do politics, the kind of the populism, the cronyism, the reliance on family members to sort of get deals done, things like that.
They kind of understand each other.
