Ohio is the number one state for incest.
To the point where there's a bit of a dark running joke amongst social workers, but social workers have to have dark humor, otherwise they'd all just collapse.
If someone is a victim of incest, it's like, oh, you're from Ohio.
It's that prevalent.

And Nicholas Rossi reported being physically and mentally abused with every single one of the foster families he was placed with.
Rossi left DCYF care when he turned 18 in 2005 and he moved in with a couple in Ohio who became his de facto foster parents.
