So you couldn't really argue with what was being put on show for the home games in terms of performances all around on the attacking front and the defensive front with the low scores that were conceded as well.
Fiona had kept her place for the duration of the competition.
And it just, as a player, like you just, like you see with Robert O'Connor, if you're trusted with the faith to do it and to keep getting your flow, like it's the confidence you get as a player is just unbelievable.
So I think everybody who was picked within that, you just felt that they were exuding that confidence and faith.
of being trusted to do the job, knowing that they were doing what was asked of them and being able to kind of keep pushing on and keep pushing each other both on the pitch.
And then likewise, the girls coming off the bench to really be chasing their tails to try and get the nudge for the starting jersey the next week.
So yeah, it's finding that, I suppose, that sweet spot from a coaching perspective of keeping everybody happy and then, you know, keeping...
the depth of it coming to a training but I think if you look at the likes of the other teams that are closest to us in terms of challengers well have been closest to us in terms of challengers the Scottish and the Welsh and the Italians seriously lacking depth and strength in it all around in terms of what they're offering so we're definitely ahead of the curve in terms of what we're doing here in Ireland at the moment which is a good sign.
Yeah, exactly.
But yeah, no, Robin is a serious talent.
Like she's kind of burst onto the scene over the last couple of years and
coming up from from wexford and a proud wexford woman and she was with me in lenster for my last season of lenster and kind of came out to the scene that you didn't really know much about her you knew she was very quick and you knew she was kind of fresh in and had played underage rugby and one of these players who would come up through the the age grade system but yeah just would step in a phone box her as you said the the turn of speed to go from not to 60
in just the blink of an eye is ridiculous.
Like, and I think we played Munster in that, that final year up in, up in the Appaday Stadium at the time.
And like, such was her speed and her, that she got over, she gets caught with so many high shots because of the step, because she's coming back across players and under no intentions, they're putting an arm out to tackle her and all of a sudden she's on the other side of them.
So she cops, she cops a hell of a lot of high shots to the head because of the sheer speed and step.
But yeah, I think,
she is someone who exudes confidence in the best way possible you could tell herself and baby just wanted the ball all the time and coming more and more into play kind of off their wing and being able to find themselves in that bit more of open field and as you said like that cut that step absolutely sliced sliced Scotland to bits and you know for her own try and for putting wafer away on that one was just a brilliant kick return and just
I think it's a real positive sign of what's to come.
You know, like someone who we had, you know, topped of Anna McGann was touted as someone who was going to start on that wing or who was going to start with Bavin.
