I would keep things to a minimum short.

And yeah, so that feeling of having to choose a side and not feeling loved in any way and feeling abandoned, that was, I was primed for my stepmother to come in and make me feel loved and seen and heard.

And for the first time in a very long time, I did feel that.

I felt like, oh, an adult really loves me now.

I'm loved.

I'm appreciated.

But it was, yeah.

Well, I knew it wasn't right, but not from the point of, oh, an older woman's abusing me or having sex with me, what I thought.

But I thought, oh, we're doing something behind dad's back.

We're having an affair behind dad's back.

And that's because I was so young and didn't have the language to explain what the hell was going on.

as a child you simplify it you know you say oh yeah this is love or you say this is um an affair or you say these simple terms to try and make sense of it because you don't have i didn't have the language at the time to say yeah no this is wrong or because it it felt good to be loved and appreciated and to as a 13 year old boy to have sex you know it was it was like i thought i was the king of the world and you've got this societal sort of grooming outside of that as well

where you've got porn categories like stepmom or teen and you think oh but it's in the media and it's in you know like i got lucky i was i was better than any kid at school you know because i was i was scoring an older woman and that's that's the sort of societal grooming aspect of it as well there's societal pressure on men specifically i feel

um to feel as though that any form of you know um anything that's sexually loaded whether it be abuse or a comment or whatever is the ultimate form of social currency for men because there wasn't a there wasn't a totem for you a constant when you felt like you were in love with your stepmother yeah
