It was a real shock.

I can't remember the specific therapist.
I remember who it was.
I don't remember his name or anything.
But he was quite one of the best in Sydney that we could see because my mum spared no expense of wanting to get me help.
And I'm very lucky for that.
I remember telling him what I went through and even his face dropped.
And he couldn't comprehend it.
He went, like, he was shocked.
He was taken aback.
This bloke's probably heard all the worst stories imaginable.
Yeah.
And, um, yeah, he was just taken aback by it.
Didn't, he was, yeah, befuddled by it really.
um but eventually i ended up going to a mental health clinic like a facility right inpatient yeah inpatient facility where i spent about a month and a half almost two months um and that was where you know there was uh every day it was individual psychologists group therapy with other patients in there and stuff like that and that was sort of where i came to the realization that this was actually abuse i was groomed and and a victim in all this
Well, that's how, that's how groomed and I was so, I was in deep with it.
Like I was so, yeah.
conditioned to feel as though I was part of the problem.
They rely on, they rely on the assurance that the victim will stay complicit, that they'll stay silent, they can get away with it.
