Tasmania, which is a coalition government, actually, you know, they've committed to reform in this and I'm working closely with their team down there.

But I think, you know, Chris, the fact of the matter is

These crimes, they don't discriminate by state borders.

Victims and survivors across this country are feeling the pain and they're resonating with our call to abolish the provision of good character references.

So my team and I at the Your Reference Ain't Relevant campaign, we're going to ensure...

that this practice is abolished in every corner of the country.

And that's what we committed to when we first launched the campaign in 2023.

And that's what we'll continue to fight for and see come to fruition and become a reality.
