And then as of recording this, only last week, New South Wales
passed legislation, so it's all done, it's now law, they abolished the provision of good character references for all offences.
So for domestic violence, murderers, more than I ever asked for, which is very rare in legislative change and campaigning.
For example, when you see, like, as you said, four years is a very short time in this sort of world.
People advocate for changes for a lifetime and don't even see half of the reform that we saw.
For example, there's been a big discussion around the banning of gambling ads in federal politics and the government introduced sort of these measures that were sort of half measures.
They were
gambling ads could only be banned between a certain period of time and stuff like that.
So that's sort of an example of what people push for, but they only end up getting half measures.
We push for a very specific thing, ended up getting more than what we asked for in New South Wales.
And now it's set sort of a precedent for the rest of the country to be able to do it.
My wish for my unborn daughter.
Well, all I know is that she's going to have the best mother and father duo in the world.
Bella is an individual like me who hates injustice and advocates to leave the world a better place than when she entered it, as do I. And I think our daughter is going to have that instilled in her from the get-go as well.
She's going to be surrounded by love.
I hope my daughter, my wish for my daughter is a childhood and a life of abundance and prosperity, a house full of warmth and love.
Safety.
And safety and choice and individuality and autonomy, things that I never had.
I want to ensure that my daughter has that environment.
