Interesting stuff.

Yeah, well...

One thing to think about is the opening rosters have to be submitted on Monday.

And so the last day for players to go on waivers to be able to be sent down on Monday would be Sunday.

And we see a huge group of players get sent down on that Sunday.

And that's sort of strategic because right now in training camp, teams kind of love their players.

They love their fringe guys.

There's not that many injuries.

And so especially if a guy's on waivers on Sunday, that means if a team claims him...

they would have had to already put someone on waivers or have a plan how they would be able to be cap compliant if they grabbed a guy.

So if you're ever going to sneak a guy through, it's basically on waivers on Sunday.

And it's a lot different than a guy in season, like when Kaepernick goes on waivers, you know, at that point, every team has time, they can make roster moves, they can say what they want to do.

So, and I think we'll

see that with those two goalies too like the time to think a guy through really is on that big lot of guys on Sunday because it really doesn't leave a team a lot of options with what to do um on Monday

The opening submissions are uh October sixth this year.

So it gives them some choices.

Uh I mean the pr the projected roster we had for them originally had twenty three healthy guys on it.

So they could just have twenty two healthy guys and and that was uh ha that they would be two hundred and twenty five thousand dollars under the cap.

Um that would allow them to accrue some space.
