Yeah, so the way that it's worked traditionally is when a player's injured, a team can exceed the salary cap by up to that player's cap it.

There's some maneuvering they have to do to set the roster, but the maximum you can benefit you get basically for a player on LTR is the injured players cap it.

Um the change now is that's lit for players that are going to come back at some point during the season, that is limited to the average salary from the previous

year.

So this year that's three point eight million.

So a team like Florida, for example, Matthew Kachuk, they do not get to exceed the cap by, you know, over like nine and a half million.

They can only exceed the cap by up to three point eight million, um, depending again how they set their roster.

So that is a big difference.

Now it won't affect a team like Vegas with Petrangelo or Montreal with Carrot Price because those players will not come back during the season.
