I think the Mangiopani, I mean yeah, I you could see that there was definitely likely other offers out there.

I mean just look at

Some of the the players that signed with teams with lots of cap space and you could see like if sa like San Jose needed to get to the floor, they claimed Letty, they gave Orlov a pretty decent deal.

So um, you know, a team like that w could Lange Pliny made more money from for sure.

So um, you know, you I think that deal uh judicious is a good word for that.

It's a small commitment.

It's really the same commitment, almost the same commitment you made to Arvinson last year.

And uh well it didn't work out.

You got out of it and you got a late pick and I guess you'd take another step to the plate and swing and see if you can get another smaller player that's got a bit of energy and some scoring touch that's maybe a better fit.

Um I still think like I I don't think this roster is complete.

Um, you know, w I don't know what goalies are out there, but you'd have to think they're still working the phones to see if there's a goalie in a trade.

Um and I think you know forward

group.

I mean when you look at the subtractions versus who they added.

their their forward group is not as good, I would say, as that finished um the year when you w the uh if with known quantities that we have.

I mean you take in Evander Kane who's uh you know, he he scored six goals in the playoffs and um, you know, a a known uh NHL player and we have the couple unknowns that you're replacing them with in Savoy, Tomasek.

Um, you know, so I also though I wouldn't be surprised if the like

There's still some NHL forwards out there and and maybe they're gonna be working the the bargain bin um pile.

As we go along, I mean we're showing them with only a hundred and seventy six thousand account space, but that includes like a guy like Max Jones for a million um and and Thomasek, who's probably c you know, likely to make the team, but he does not need waivers to go down.

So, you know, there's no reason why they can't sign one, two, three more guys kinda in that million to one point one ish range uh and see like who wins a job out of camp and whoever doesn't, you know, get
